Margo and Her Mother

Tillie’s Undergraduate Thesis Film:

13 year old Margo struggles to cope with her OCD. Just when she thinks she is completely alone with her indescribable intrusive thoughts, a tenacious 8th grader, Natalia, befriends Margo. Natalia helps Margo discover out that the reason she was not given the proper tools to cope is because Margo’s mother, Amber, has become a mastermind of hiding her own struggle with OCD.

Young and new friendships are tricky, Margo and Natalia’s relationship is no different. This film explores the power of new friendship and its effects on old relationships.
